Hot Dog and Biscuit Seafood
It was a big night last night at the home on top of the hill, where we girded our guts for the stormy seas of the Veep Debate with a hearty seafood dinner ... made entirely of hot dogs and biscuits (and a mystery third ingredient, check the Flickr Set for the surprise ending!)
Kate had seen a site online where the fellow made biscuit sea critters much like the ones in the photo here. I can't remember what he said they were, but they look kind of like shrimp to me. I dunno, I don't live under the sea, these beasts have the capacity to surprise me.
As for myself, I made an octopus. I did this because I like octopuses, and also because I wanted more hot dogs and biscuits to feed my fat belly. Also, there is a surprise filling in the octopus' head. The octopus' head is called a "mantle." This is your science fact for the day.
Hot dog and biscuit seafood made the veep debates tolerable, although we did end up with stomachaches later. Hard to say which one of the potential culprits was to blame, there ...
