Brave and the Bold - Bat-Hulk!

Comments

Fantastic!!!
That's the bee's knees, m'man!
Boo-rilliant!
Ah! Fuck! Yes!

You have won the internets.. again.

While Metamorpho isn't technically Plastic Man, you have certainly captured something about him that is so ooky.
I love Batman's meaty arms and legs. The Riddler looks like he's making a passing wind noise with his mouth.
All in all, great choiceand I like the subtle shift of black to grey. Noice! Yeah, the old DC checkerboard pattern is classic. Classic, I tell ya!

I counter your 'actually' with an 'actually' of my own: POW.

ACTUALLY I don' think he actuallied me, BUT anyway

Re: ACTUALLY I don' think he actuallied me, BUT anyway

It sure sounded to me like he did. I mean in a very nice way, yes, but it still came off to me as:

"You drew this one character kind of functioning in the role or manner of this other character, and really that first one doesn't work like that (you dummy) but goodjobontheillustrationIsuredoloveit."

But if it didn't come off like that to you then great.

Re: ACTUALLY I don' think he actuallied me, BUT anyway

It IS great! Now go read that article, it's ACTUALLY fascinating! And ACTUALLY frustrating, kind of, really, because man, actually ...

Re: ACTUALLY I don' think he actuallied me, BUT anyway

Actually I tried to read it but I found out I don't understand big words.

Re: ACTUALLY I don' think he actuallied me, BUT anyway

I was referring to this...

Re: ACTUALLY I don' think he actuallied me, BUT anyway

D'oh, my link don't work so well.
I WAS referring to Jon's statement that Plastic Man was the character he was born to draw. Elongated Man is sort of a puffy ooky version of the plasticical fantastical.
My link up and gone... poor link.

Re: ACTUALLY I don' think he actuallied me, BUT anyway

This is starting to become like a Seinfeld episode.

Re: ACTUALLY I don' think he actuallied me, BUT anyway

HOWEVER, that link ACTUALLY doesn't work for me at this MOME--mo, uh, moment.

Batman as Bat-Hulk

I see this and think...

'Mr. Mason, don't make me angry.
You won't like me when I'm angry'
This is great! I came across a Metamorpho comic several years ago and thought it was pretty neat.
GOOD LORD. So awesome I almost didn't notice the Riddler's carp-faced snickering. Wow.
Sweetness. If I hadn't been following this, it would seem like this is totally your creation, especially the giggling going on in the background.
haha i love this so much! your style suits it so well! I love how this cover probably shows exactly whats happening but im still really confused!
(oh ps! I did end up making hourlies!! http://eyepatchmcgee.livejournal.com/39240.html )
Fantastic!
Thanks! ^_^

RR!

I really like your Penguin. And The Riddler's expression.
Going to throw this over to coveredblog.blogspot.com?
Already sent it to him, we'll see if he uses it ...
Nice!

Did you give the Joker a trace of mustache?
THANK YOU! I was waiting for someone to notice - yes, the Joker has painted over his mustache in this drawing, as my nod towards the 1960's Batman teevee show ...
Yeah, I kinda thought that's what you were going for. (Interestingly, they never did that to the Joker in the comics to the best of my knowledge. Maybe it's just nowadays that they're more likely to redraw characters to resemble the movie ones?)
If you branch out from Batman I recommend this

If not this Because I just LOVE that Batman seems to have stopped "Hmm, is this REALLY the best plan?"

I LOVE Grundy. LOVE.
Best comic cover EVER
Oh lord, those are all fantastic.
God damn, man, that is, like, extra awesome. Batman's stubby knees and elbows are my favorite bit; one would say almost Hembeck-esque. (And Riddler's hilariously dumb-lookin' lip, too, but a million people already mentioned that.)
