This is a vital legal document to some governments ...

Oh man you guys, look what I found under a bookshelf in my studio; it's issue thirteen of The Official Handbook the Marvel Universe, The Book of the Dead! Why, I haven't seen this in forever ...






















What I did here: Driving home from Seattle one night, I was idly thinking bedsheet ghosts, and somehow that materialized fully formed in my mind as Banshee, in his pose from the original Official Handbook to the Marvel Universe Book of the Dead, as a bedsheet ghost ... holding his pipe and hands upon cocked hip. What you see here is every _dead_ character from those two issues of the first series. I didn't draw the inactive characters, because those would just be people underneath bedsheets, not bedsheet ghosts. Also, I only did the characters from the inaugural OHOTMU/BotD, not the subsequent issues, and I mention all of this only to keep the nerds off my back. That being said, though, there is a bar bet attached to this one, so let's see who ends up owing me a dollar...

Oh, and it turned out that Banshee wasn't even actually DEAD back in the original entry, he was just inactive. Bummer. He looked great as a bedsheet ghost with his wee clay pipe ...

I was considering doin' a Mini_Marvel version of the entire handbook...but I think i'd end up shooting myself...

my guess is this was the bar bet, and I was going to raise objections to Bucky and Baron Zemo on that basis at minimum. Probably more, but I don't care to do the research.

Brilliant idea that made me laugh hard, even though I don't have a clue who all but two of these characters are were (can you guess which ones?).
