Second entry for the BOO!Halloween Stories theme, penned by myself and illustrated by the great Les McClaine.

[info]theuglyvolvo is probably my favorite writer on LiveJournal (Many thanks to clockworkmonkeyBrodie for pointing her out) and although she's had some amazing articles written in her journal (this one stands out in my memory, as a for instance), today's post is just delightful.

I frequently found myself reading this entry with a gobsmacked smile of delight on my phiz. SOMEone has a good dad!

And hey, as long as I've mentioned my favorite writer on LJ, who is/are yours?

A forever cure to the doldrums (which are also forevers) is pencil-free character designs! Their legs all get small by the time they become feet.

Go on, name 'em! I expect most of the suggestions to be pretty devoid of imagination and high on deliberate irony. "Bored Electric Guy! Fangy Wifebeater! The Hairy Hooded Master of Hand Farts!" If I'm gonna disappoint everyone else, it's only fair that they get to disappoint me right back.
