My wife's birthday was yesterday, and I'll let her get to the presents and cake and her extended birthday plans (We tend to spread out special events in the household, Kate's birthday will last through Monday, as far as we're concerned. Our wedding anniversary usually gets a full week or two of treatment), BUT I wanted show off one of her hand-made presents.

I made Kate a special tee-shirt for her next trip to Disneyland - I like to provide her with off-brand exclusives, as it were (See the Donald Duck shirt from a coupla years back). This year it's:

There is almost nothing better in life than Donald Swearengen Duck, although Kate's particularly fond of how Mickey Seth Bullock looks like he's about to blow his stack in a goddamnt second is what.

There's also some points towards drawing Daisy as a whore.

All right, get back to your internetting, internettors!

Have you SEEN my internetting lately? No one wants me to get back to that.

Man, I loved that when I just thought it was character designs, but now, knowing you did it as a knockoff t-shirt, I love it unto death. I just keep picturing the reaction it's going to get when she's actually walking around Disneyland with it on -- half the people are going to be begging her to tell them where she got it and the other half will be reporting her to Disney Security.

I'll be going with her next time she goes, so I'll get to see that first-hand. And I expect the latter folks will be out in force, Disney fanatics can be serious fucking ass-kissers.

I MUST HAVE IT

Seriously, although there's no chance in this universe or any other you'd get this by either HBO or Disney, nevermind both, that is truly a magnificent thing that I think would sell like hotcakes to the eskimos or a bear shitting in the pope or something.

Since I transferred it to a shirt that was a size too small on my girl, I sort of wept at the beauty of it too...

Being a girl of some size myself - I find beautiful that you assumed she was the smaller size. :)

Oh... and the artwork is made of awesome.

I can't see Horace Horse like that. Scrooge McDuck is Hearst, obv.

You got Hearst right, but Mister Wu is Pooh. I think Johnny is Piglet, Dan Dority is Eeyore and the other guy whose name I suddenly forget is Tigger.

Goofy is Ellsworth.

I should either share my list or draw up the characters, shouldn't I?

The next major male character I can think of is Charlie Utter, but that doesn't sound right for Tigger to me.
